Yoga Classes & 1-2-1 Sessions
Hi everyone!
I'd like to share an update with you below regarding Yoga classes and our studio.
Monday 8.45am and Thursday 6.30pm are remaining on Zoom for the time being. Class booking here
Tuesday 6.30pm class, which used to be at the Swanland Village Hall, will now revert back to an in-person class, but with a new venue (The main hall at the Brough Petuaria Centre - map here) and new earlier time (5.40pm - 6.40pm). This will commence on Tuesday 29th June. More details below, booking here.
The studio is still open for 1-2-1 or same household Yoga sessions. Info here.
New Tuesday evening class - please read carefully
The new class is held in the Main Hall at the Brough Community Centre, part of the Petuaria Centre, 10 Centurion Way, Brough HU15 1DF. It begins earlier at 5.40pm and is socially distanced. There are 10 spaces, and bookings will be accepted on a first come first served basis, with initial priority being given to those who book a block of four. If someone is unable to attend on a particular week, a single session space(s) will be available - exactly the same system as we had at the Swanland Village Hall.
To book your block of four to start on the first session on 29th June, go to the webpage here and click the four class PayPal link, or contact me by text if you prefer to use Bank Transfer.
Social Distancing and Information about the class at the Petuaria Centre.
The main hall there is a lovely airy space with plenty of room and a high ceiling, with lots of windows and ventilation. It has a large car park. Here are some things that are different now due to social distancing, and these specific measures are put in place by the management team at the Petuaria Centre.
Please queue, socially distanced, outside, at the external entry door under the canopy (the door is shared with the library, however the library will be closed). I'll then open the main door to allow everyone in about 10 mins before. The exit door is the fire exit, in the corner of the room we'll practice in. Sorry that you have to queue outside, but this is the system that the centre have.
There is a toilet, but if possible, please use your own before you attend class, no problem if you are not able to, of course!
Hand sanitiser is available in the corridor.
I'll guide you on where your mat will go if you are new to the space, please make sure it is socially distanced from the people next to you.
Please wear a face covering in the entrance and corridor leading to the room. You are free to remove it once you are on your mat, unless you wish to keep it on, of course. There is no legal requirement to wear a face covering during a Yoga class unless you wish to.
Please keep your social distance from other people in the room. Blocks, belts, blankets etc for the class should be located near to your mat. Please avoid leaving your yoga bag/belongings/shoes on top of someone else's. If possible, please bring minimum items into the room and what you need for your practice, of course you will need to have valuables with you.
As always I really enjoy Teaching you all, and guiding you through your practice, whether that be on Zoom or in-person. I look forward to seeing you soon, whether you are already attending a class, or would like to return to a class.
Any questions, please let me know.
Sending the good vibes,
Namaste,
Ali :)
